Seafood Bisque

you will need:

Cooked shellfish mix
1 fillet of fish, any variety however i find smoked haddock packs more flavour!
half a medium tub of low fat cottage cheese

for flavour:
chilli powder
1 tsp sweetener
salt and pepper
1 chicken stock cube diluted to your desired strength
mixed spice
paprika

Fry the fish fillet and chop roughly into smaller segments,
move to a saucepan
add the fish and shellfish

mix together the cream cheese and the flavourings and spices and add this to the fish

fill the saucepan to the amount you want with the chicken stock.

Leave to simmer (keep tasting to get the desired flavour)

Sweet pancakes!!!!

1.5 tbsp Oatbran
1.5 tbsp Fromage frais or flavoured yogurt

Meatballs

I made meatballs on monday but turkey ones! they were epic to be honest!

you will need :
extra lean mince
1 stock cube crumbled up
salt and pepper
1 tbsp oatbran
1 tsp dijon mustard
as much herbs and spices you wish to use (i used oregano and basil)
mush together in a bowl, shape into balls and place in a frying pan turning them until they are cooked THROUGH!

delicious!!
i also replicated the Ikea meatball sauce for this you will need:

as much low fat (not fat free) yogurt as you wish for sauce
1/2 chicken stock cube crumbled
a splash of soy sauce
some dijon mustard
Add this to the cooked meatballs in the pan until it is hot enough to eat.

Sunday roast

i had a small chicken all to myself sunday!
if you feel like being adventurous sprinkle on some chilli powder or peri peri sauce before putting it in the oven (following the instructions) or after its cooked and once the skin is removed!

Thursday

I would just like to say that since sunday (weighing 10st) i am now weighing 9st 8!!!!

So today for my main meal i decided on some gammon and egg with mini savoury blinis!

for the blinis you need:
1.5tbsp oatbran
salt and pepper to flavour
1.5 tbsp quark or light cream cheese
1 egg

mix the lot together and fry in a frying pan on low heat until both sides are cooked.

For dessert i made egg custard:

2 eggs
1 tbsp sweetener
2 tbsp fat free yogurt
and vanilla essense

mix together in a bowl and put the bowl in the oven at 200dgrs  for 35 mins!

Further work

Right guys.
A recommended 20 minute walk each day...its a dreadful day...but lets give it a go 20 mins of exercise daily boosts the metabolism enough to kick start this diet!

Also make sure you get to bed by 12 most nights! it really boosts metabolism and energy.

Also I had a course of hypnotherapy once and she recommended the 12 o clock sleep routine as the brain stores so much information each day and needs to process it to eliminate the bad from the good information thus leaving you in a fabulous mood again and revitalized! if you don't get enough sleep your brain doesn't get enough time to process the negative information and your left with it to carry through another day!!!
This is so highly recommended by myself as well. especially for those of you with severe body hang ups or stressful personalities. I stress like stupid over nothing half the time!

So there's some true brain study facts there x

Wednesday

Hey all

Wednesday today! so the meals i have planned are:

Breakfast scrambled egg and yogurt combo! as per usual

Lunch:
some chicken and ham pieces or i might walk down the local for some salmon pieces...we'll see

Dinner:
Large chicken breast fillet stuffed with fat free cream cheese (flavoured or otherwise) and wrapped in wafer ham slices!!! (the perfect low fat bacon and devine once ovened )

with your chicken breast fillet make a small slice (not in half) and stuf the raw chicken with cream cheese ! i used fat free onion and chive!! then wrap the chicken breast in 2 slices of wafer ham and put on a baking tray in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes or until the inside is white!

Diet going well , not out of ideas yet!

Tuesday

Tueday:
The standard scramble and yogurt combo! still going strong :)

Lunch:
Tandoori Chicken drummers!!!!

OK so for these you will need some fat free yogurt and a leg quarter or drumsticks whichever you fancy (skinless and cut all visible fat)
I bought 2 chicken leg quarters for 99P at Aldi!!!!! also you will need any spices you have lying around! perfect!

To make the yogurt topping:
use a small bowl and pour in the yogurt (not too much obviously but whatever fills ya)
mix together with:
1 teaspoon artificial sweetener
some salt and pepper
curry powder
1 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika

Roast the chicken in the oven for 30 mins! after that take out the chicken and pour on your yogurt concoction and roast for a further 20 mins.

I got so full on one leg quarter that i kept the second for Wednesday! bargain much!!! £££££

Then for Dinner:
I had some spare cooked shellfish from the previous night so i put in that and some cooked chicken into a saucepan with 1 chicken stock cube. i let it simmer until the stock cube had dispersed and it also smelt of seafood not just chicken.
Finally i added the last bit of leftover chilli cottage cheese from monday and let it simmer a little longer.

Just make sure its hot basically :)

That was the nicest meal ever!!!

Protein rich!

This week's diet has been so far:

Monday:
2 Scrambled eggs and a fat free coconut greek style yoghurt. ps why did no one tell me about greek style yogurt its thick creamy and amazing and you can get it fat free!! incredible!
oh and my standard 2 cups of green tea.

Lunch:
Chunky chicken pieces (no skin or fat)

Dinner:
A large smoked haddock fillet with shellfish on top covered with a gorgeous half tub of low fat SWEET CHILLI cottage cheese...aaah so filling so good!

then i had a cup of skimmed milk before bed with vanilla essence and artificial sweetener.

thats my tipple ;)

Current Diet

Well after considerable trauma over whether to follow weight watchers, slimming world, starve orbecome anorexic I have settled for now with tips from every diet i've encountered and has helped me along the way.
This is working progress of course. A journey

My current diet i am following is:

Half a slice of melon for breakfast or maybe a weight watchers bagel with jam- love sweet things!
I live off green tea and it has changed my skin forever! very nice!
I have 2 cups in the morning.

For lunch I eat a 2 egg scrambled egg with 2 pieces of ham and more green tea

(Scrambled Egg recipe)
2 eggs
glug of milk
salt and pepper (try more pepper than salt as salt will bloat and absorb water!)
use light spray to coat the saucepan!!! butter if you must

For an interesting flavour top with a squeeze of tomato puree
OR to increase your metabolic activity add half a teaspoon of chilli powder...tastes awesome!

At Tea i generally eat a warm salad, making sure i fill up on leaves, green vegetables and a bit of meat (my love is for Salmon)
If being served by family like i am mostly- follow the pattern by  eating the green vegetables then the protein, then for any carbs have maybe about 4/5 fork fulls

At night i also enjoy a cup of light options cocoa!

Welcome

Hey There,

This Blog has been set up for people in as much of a twist as I've always found myself in.
I am on a fashion Design course and Body image and personal reflection really takes it's toll on you-maybe over-rules you like it does with me and has for many years.
This blog is to chart recipes, reflection tips and techniques and other issues which I find we often put ourselves through.
So power to us!

Yours,
